Everything we've added, newest first. Items marked Pro or Studio need that plan; everything else is on every plan, Free included.

Phone videos now read right in the video editor
4K phone videos (the kind an iPhone records) used to show a wildly wrong length, no picture and no frame rate. They now show their real length, frame rate and a picture the moment you add them, and the editor makes a standard MP4 copy for you.
Fixed: an iPhone video could show a length of 48 hours, no frame rate and no thumbnail. The editor now reads the real length, frame rate and size, and shows a small picture of the clip straight away while the thumbnail strip is made in the background.Video editor
The editor never shows a length that cannot be right. If a file's length cannot be trusted it is read again another way, and if that fails you see a clear message with a Try again button and a way to remove the file, never a made-up number.Video editor
Clips you added earlier that show a wrong length, no frame rate or no thumbnail are repaired quietly when you open your Media. You can also press Refresh info on any clip. Your original files are never changed, and films that used a repaired clip are trimmed to its real length.Video editor
Videos that are not a standard H.264 and AAC MP4 (iPhone .mov files, HEVC, WebM, MKV, vertical and variable-frame-rate clips) are converted to an MP4 in your browser, one at a time while the page is open, with progress and a Cancel button. The picture keeps its size, turns the right way up and runs at a steady frame rate. Your original is kept; the converted copy counts toward your storage, and it is skipped with a note if there is no room. Older clips have Convert to MP4 in their menu, and the menu also has Download original.Video editor

A bigger video editor, with a preset browser
The video editor has far more to start from: looks, transitions, effects, animations, text and subtitle styles, sounds, music beds and ready-made film templates, in one browser you can search.
The video editor now has 123 looks. New families match a scene's mood, the time of day, the weather, a place, a decade, a film stock and a genre, with 33 of them on Free.Video editor
125 transitions in all, with 119 new styles (pushes, covers, wipes, shapes, whip pans, spins, flashes, glitches, light leaks and more), each with a direction, a motion curve and a strength where it makes sense. 40 are on Free.Video editor
18 new effects (camera frames, letterbox bars, rain, snow, dust, fog, particles, scan lines, halftone, mirror, kaleidoscope, colour split, pixelate, posterize, duotone, strobe, wave and fisheye), 129 ready-made effect settings, 44 clip animations (in, out, loops, and pans and zooms) and 8 more speed ramps.Video editor
103 new text styles and 50 new subtitle styles, with gradient fills, letter spacing and new text animations.Video editor
152 new sound effects (appliances, kitchens, offices, room tones, vehicles, nature, footsteps, crowds, risers, drones, impacts and interface sounds) and 28 background music beds. They are made inside MoVie AI and free to use in your films; the beds are simple guide-quality backing.Video editor
21 film templates on the video editor's front page, each with a title, numbered placeholder cards to replace with your clips, transitions, markers and a music bed. 6 are on Free.Video editor
One preset browser for looks, effects, animations, transitions, text, subtitle styles and sounds: search by name or word, keep favourites, see recent ones, preview before you apply, and apply to the selected clips, the whole track or the film in one tap. It works the same on a phone. Pro and Studio unlock every preset; the rest show a lock, and a Free export leaves out Pro-only effects and turns a Pro-only transition style into a plain version of it.Video editor

Edit a film together
Invite people to a film in the video editor. Everyone's changes show up for the others within seconds, and nobody's work is lost when two people edit at once.
Share in the video editor makes an invite link for a film. People with the link can edit, or only watch, and you can change a person's role, remove them or turn the link off at any time.Video editorPro
Changes from everyone in the film show up within a few seconds. When two people edit at once, both edits are kept; if both changed the very same setting, the latest one wins.Video editorPro
See who else is in the film, with a coloured outline on the clips they have selected. Films others share with you appear under Shared with you in your film list.Video editorPro
Clips you add to the video editor now upload to your account, so a film opens with all its clips on your phone and your computer.Video editor

Pro previs tools, a storyboard board and a smarter AI
See what a lens will show while you move the camera, light the scene with one click, import your script, put real location photos behind the set, time an animatic and send the crew a report. The Production Hub gets a Storyboard board for the whole film, the AI knows the site, and its sets are checked before you see them.
A live camera view that updates as you move the camera or change the lens, with frame guides for 2.39:1, 1.85:1, 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 9:16 and 4:5. Pick a lens from 18 to 135 mm, a sensor (Super 35, micro four thirds, full frame or a phone), an aperture with real depth of field, click to set the focus, and read the field of view in degrees. Height, tilt and roll are in the same bar.Cameras & shots
Compare 2 lenses side by side on Free, or 4 on Pro and Studio, and save any of them as a shot. Every shot remembers its lens, sensor, height and aperture, and they show on the shot list and in the storyboard PDF.Cameras & shots
More lighting looks (golden hour, blue hour, noon sun, night, candlelit, warm home, cold office, firelight and more), each with fine-tune sliders for strength, warmth, direction, softness and haze, a time-of-day slider, and a top-down lighting diagram for the crew. A look never leaves faces unreadably dark. Free has 15 looks; Pro and Studio have all 20 looks.Building scenes
Light this scene: type a mood or tap a chip and the AI sets the look, the time and real lights, with a preview, Apply and Undo. It uses one message, given back if it fails or nothing needed to change.AIPro
Import a Fountain, Final Draft, Word, PDF or plain text script. A preview shows the scenes, characters, locations and props it found, and you can rename, merge or fix them before anything is created. An import always makes a new script and never overwrites yours, and it can create empty 3D scenes with a starting shot list from your own words. One import creates up to 1 scene on Free, 60 on Pro and 200 on Studio.Building scenes
Use photos of a real place as a backdrop plane, a 360-degree panorama or a pinned reference, with distance, width, height, turn, lean and see-through sliders and a Line up the horizon button. The photos stay on your device and are never uploaded (2 per scene on Free, 12 on Pro, 40 on Studio). Pro and Studio can also use a picture from Uploads and ask the AI to match this photo, with a preview and Undo.Backgrounds & weather
Animatics: set how long each shot holds on a pacing strip, drag shots to reorder with their lengths following, add camera moves, music, sound effects and voices, and play it with subtitles. Export an MP4 with sound (up to 1 minute on Free, 5 minutes on Pro, 10 minutes on Studio), or send it to the video editor cut at each shot. Computer-read voices play in the editor but are not in the exported sound.Video editor
A crew report in one click: scene summary, shot list with lens, height, tilt and movement, storyboard frames, a lighting and camera diagram, props, characters and running time, as a PDF or a private link. Links need no account, can have a password and an expiry (up to 7 days on Free, 90 on Pro, 365 on Studio) and can be removed any time. Email addresses and phone numbers are always left out, and shots you leave out never appear. Free has 2 live links and a small footer line; Pro has 25 and none; Studio has 100 and your brand kit. The Production Hub adds the shoot day.Sharing & community
The Production Hub has a Storyboard board: every scene as a numbered frame, drag to reorder (the order the shot list, schedule and breakdown pickers use), add a scene four ways with the + frame, tag and group scenes into sequences, edit a scene's details, shots and picture in a side panel, ask the AI for quick changes with a preview and Undo, play the scenes through, and print the board as a PDF with 1, 2, 4, 6 or 9 frames per page. Removed scenes stay in Recently removed for 90 days and the 3D scene, shots, voices and subtitles are never deleted; moving a scene on a shared call sheet asks first. Free keeps 12 planned scenes and 4 sequences, Pro 400 and 40, Studio 1500 and 60.Building scenes
After building a set, the AI checks it for floating items, overlaps, blocked doors and rooms you can't walk through, and fixes them before you see it. Chairs face their table, sofas face the TV, beds and desks stand with their back to a wall, and furniture is spread across the room instead of piled in the middle. In our 34-prompt test set, scenes with a blocked door, a floating item or a person stuck in furniture went from 11 of 34 to none.AI
People talking to each other turn to face one another, and the AI checks a built scene for people walking through walls, walks that can't be reached and people not facing who they talk to. Characters in a production keep the same look across its scenes, and feet stay planted at every walking speed (under 1.1 cm of movement per frame in our test).People & animals
The AI chat answers "how do I..." questions from a maintained list of features, names the exact button, and says plainly when something needs Pro or Studio or does not exist. It can offer a button that opens the right page and never changes a scene without Undo. Asking how something works counts as one message, like any chat reply.AI

Full control of the scene maker timeline
The timeline in the 3D scene maker now works like a real editor: right-click menus on everything, selecting and moving many things at once, snapping, keyboard shortcuts, markers, and an undo history you can jump around in.
Right-click anything on the timeline (long-press on a phone) for a menu with icons and shortcut hints: delete, duplicate, copy, cut, paste, split, trim, speed, colour label, lock, group, rename and more. Clips, shots, keys, voice lines, subtitles, sounds, animation blocks, track headers, markers and empty space each have their own menu, and an option that can't be used is greyed with the reason.Building scenes
Click, Shift-click a range, Ctrl/Cmd-click to add, or drag a box to select many things, then move, trim, copy or delete them together. Dragging snaps to the playhead, other items, markers and the grid, with a guide line; hold Alt to turn snapping off. Drop a clip or voice line on another track and see at once whether it can go there.Building scenes
Ripple delete closes the gap on voices, subtitles, doors, cameras and sounds together, so they stay in sync; plain delete keeps the gap. Copy and paste at the playhead, nudge by a frame or a second, and type exact start times and durations in a properties panel.Building scenes
Tracks can be renamed, coloured, locked, hidden, muted, soloed, moved and given a different height. Eight colour labels, five easing choices for keys (linear, ease in, ease out, smooth and hold), and markers and regions with names and colours that are saved with the scene.Building scenes
An in and out range can loop, or be sent to export as just that part. There is a mini-map and zoom to the pointer, to fit or to the selection; with a very long scene only what is on screen is drawn, so it stays smooth.Building scenes
45 keyboard shortcuts, including Space, J/K/L, S to split, Delete, Shift+Delete to ripple delete, Ctrl/Cmd+C/X/V/D and Z, M for a marker and I/O for in and out; press ? for the list. They only act once you have clicked the timeline and never while you type. Lock is Shift+L because L is shuttle, and Alt+arrows nudge.Building scenes
Every action, even one on many items, is one undo step, and a History list lets you click back to any step. Edits are saved like all others and recovered if the tab closes before a save finishes. Old saved timelines open and play exactly as before.Building scenes
On a phone: long-press for the menu, a bottom toolbar with split, delete, duplicate, undo and redo, a Select several button, pinch to zoom and large touch buttons. Tested on emulated phones, not yet on real devices.Building scenes
On a scene you collaborate on (Pro and Studio) you can see who else has what selected, by name only, and two people's changes to keys, markers and track settings are merged instead of overwriting each other.Sharing & community

A video editor, usable gaming props, doors, looking and subtitles
A full video editor for your own clips, a sound library you can use in your films, automatic doors and look control that hold up when the AI directs them, gaming props you can use, smarter camera angles and one subtitle editor for both editors.
A video editor on every plan: several video and audio tracks, split, trim, ripple delete, speed changes with reverse and freeze frame, keyframes with easing, picture-in-picture, blend modes, transitions, titles and lower thirds, markers, undo and redo, autosave and version history. It has right-click menus and keyboard shortcuts on a computer, and long-press menus, pinch to zoom and drag handles on a phone.Video editor
Bring your own video, audio and pictures, or your scene renders, shot list and recorded voices. Clips are checked on your device and a light editing copy is made so big files stay smooth; files that can't be used get a plain message, and Convert for me tries to make an editable copy. For now clips are kept on your device (online storage is not switched on yet), so keep your originals.Video editor
Looks and colour: one-click looks built from real colour grades, each with a strength slider, colour and lighting controls, VHS, glitch, light leaks and more. Pro and Studio add colour wheels, curves, LUT import, a green-screen key, Enhance and Stabilize. They improve footage but can't invent detail.Video editor
A library of sounds, music loops and ambience beds made inside the app and free to use in your films, searchable by category and mood. One-click noise reduction, volume levelling, hum removal and music ducking, voice-over recording with a countdown, and a level meter.Video editor
Export on your device with MP4 presets for YouTube, Reels, TikTok and Shorts, audio only, GIF and subtitle files, with every sound, effect and subtitle. An export can resume after you close the tab, and a failed one retries without using anything. Free exports go up to 720p with a small corner mark; Pro and Studio have none. Posting a film to the community always asks first, and is coming with online storage.Video editor
An optional AI assist panel that you can turn off: auto cut, rough cut from your shot list, music and sound ideas, subtitles, Make it better, Fix the audio and a chat box. Every change shows a preview first and can be undone, and only a summary of your project is sent, never your footage. Helpers that run on your device use no message; a message is given back when nothing changes or it fails.Video editor
The Edit button on the shot list and storyboard sends your shots to the video editor as a starting timeline.Video editor
The invite button is called Collaborate everywhere, the Production Hub and invite emails included; Share is for watch links and community posts. Nothing is posted to the community until you press Confirm, for scenes, scripts, models, backgrounds, challenge entries, marketplace listings and videos.Sharing & community
If an AI helper changes nothing or fails, the message goes back to you, and on Free the counter keeps showing your real balance afterwards. Pro and Studio limits are unchanged.AI
Suggested camera angles are checked at the start, middle and end of each shot, so a shot of someone walking keeps them in frame, and a fixed shot they would walk out of is given a follow move.Cameras & shots
Gaming props you can use: gaming desks, including the L-shaped desk, work as real desks, characters can play arcade, pinball and claw machines, and a racing cockpit is a seat. Asking the AI for a gamer's bedroom or a streaming room builds one with the character seated at the desk.Props & library
Doors open for anyone who walks through, including people the AI directs, upstairs and in rotated rooms. Each door is Auto-open, Always open, Always closed or Locked, and saloon doors swing the same however you scrub.People & animals
A look-at never snaps: when an action such as checking a watch starts or ends, the head eases over. A look the AI sets is the same as one you set by hand.People & animals
Subtitles can be edited, restyled and retimed, split, merged and found and replaced, and imported and exported as SRT or VTT, in the 3D editor and the video editor alike. The AI can fix or translate them in your remembered style, and uses a message only when something changes.Building scenes
Voice recordings are taken straight from the microphone and saved as you go, and the mouth closes within a fraction of a second when speech stops.Building scenes

A new Free plan, characters that act, and a Production Hub
Free now starts with a pool of messages and refills a little every day, you can describe what people do and watch them do it, and every project has a Production Hub for the crew, schedule and call sheets.
The Free plan has a new message rule: a pool of starter messages when you join, then a daily refill. Starter messages never expire. The daily refill tops you up to the daily amount each day at 00:00 UTC (shown in your own time); it does not add that amount on top, so unused daily messages don't pile up. The pricing page and FAQ always show the current numbers. Accounts that already existed get the starter messages once, too.Account & help
The starter messages are given once your email is verified. When you run out you can still view, edit by hand, save and export, and the meter shows how many you have left and when more arrive.Account & help
To keep Free fair for everyone, Free AI has a short limit on how fast messages can be sent, a limit on how many Free accounts can claim starter messages from the same network or device, and a daily limit across all Free users that can be lowered or paused. Pro and Studio are unchanged.Account & help
Describe what people do (“a nervous man paces, checks his watch, then answers the phone”) and each character gets an ordered, editable step list on the timeline: walk, run, sneak, pace, sit, use props, gesture, look, speak and hand something over, in the order you wrote.People & animals
Moods such as tired, angry, nervous or in a hurry change how people walk, stand and look. People walk round furniture and keep apart, and a check turns them to face what they look at and pulls a chair out from a table when someone has to sit.People & animals
Edit any performance step by step: change, retime, reorder, delete or add a step, play one step or the whole thing, and press Undo this performance to put the person back exactly as they were. It works with large touch buttons on a phone.People & animals
The AI's reply lists exactly what each person will do and when, and says so when an animation doesn't exist yet and a close one was used. Hugs, handshakes and high fives are approximate (nobody touches), there is no kiss or throw yet, and typed lines use a computer voice.AI
A request that changes nothing, or that only makes the AI ask you which person you mean, doesn't use a message. Improve this scene has a new “Bring people to life” focus.AI
A Production Hub for every project: script breakdown, cast and crew, a shoot-day schedule, call sheets, locations and permits, props and wardrobe, shot ticks, tasks, files, a budget, notes, comments and an activity feed. It uses no AI and no messages, and works on a phone.Account & help
Cast and crew details are private: each field (phone, email, availability and so on) is shown only to the roles you choose, and exports carry only what you can see. Give collaborators a role so each sees only their part.Account & help
A read-only crew link works without an account, shows only the sections you pick, and stops working when you revoke it. Call sheets come as a PDF, and you can email everyone their own call time with a private link.Sharing & community
Tick shots done on set with notes and continuity (saved onto the scene's cameras), export the crew list, schedule, shot list and budget as CSV or PDF, and save the whole hub as a bundle you can import again. The schedule and the last call sheet you opened can be read offline.Account & help
Pro and Studio add collaborators with roles, larger limits, file uploads, more crew links and task reminders; Studio puts your brand kit on the hub's PDFs. Weather on a call sheet is looked up for the rounded place and date only.Account & help

Animations, an AI chat in the prop maker, faster loading, phones, and 3D export
Over 160 animations for sitting, doors, cars and everyday objects, an AI chat in the prop maker, scenes that load sooner, an editor built for phones, STL import, and 3D, project-file and WAV export.
A new Animations menu on every person (right-click, or long-press on a phone): over 160 animations in nine groups, with search, favourites, recent ones, a live preview on that person, and speed, repeats, left-handed and a delay. Press Use and they walk to the object, do it, and it plays the same in the editor, the timeline, the community player and exports.People & animals
Right-click an object and choose Use this: pick one of the four nearest people and they walk over and use it. A Then action chains the next one after the walk, and every action has fields on the timeline.People & animals
Sit down and stand up on 34 kinds of seat, in five sitting styles, and lie down and sit up on 14 kinds of bed, cot, gurney, sofa and bench. Heights come from the real surfaces: our ray test found none of 43 seat and 39 bed size combinations off. Seated people can also lean, cross their arms, fidget, watch the screen or nod off.People & animals
Sixteen conversation gestures (wave, shrug, nod, clap, laugh, argue, come here and more) and four dances (slow dance, party, side-step, disco point) are in the menu too.People & animals
Getting into a car plays out: reach for the handle, open the door, duck in, pull it shut and put the hands on the wheel; getting out reverses it. Open vehicles are climbed into, and bikes are mounted. Use this on a car puts someone in as driver or passenger.People & animals
Drivers can buckle and unbuckle the seat belt (it shows only when buckled), look in the mirror, check over the shoulder, tune the radio, change gear and talk on the phone while driving.People & animals
Doors and windows have actions: push, pull, knock, try a locked door, unlock, peek round, kick open or sneak through; double doors, saloon doors, gates, sliding and garage doors; call a lift; open and close windows and curtains; duck under a barrier; hold a railing.People & animals
People use the things in a home: open drawers, the fridge and cabinets, wash their hands, cook at the stove, start the microwave, flush the toilet and have a coffee. The objects move too: drawers slide, the fridge light comes on, water runs and the burner glows.People & animals
Phone, laptop and street life: talk, text, take photos and selfies on a phone; read papers; type, use a mouse and write with a pen; eat with a fork; use the TV remote or a game controller; pay at a counter, use a cash machine or a vending machine; hail a taxi; hammer a nail; turn a wrench.People & animals
Things that move on their own: windmills, fountains, sprinklers, a seesaw, a roundabout and a grandfather clock. Curtains and banners sway, string lights twinkle, a conveyor belt carries cartons and rain runs down windows.Backgrounds & weather
Animals get six new actions for four-legged animals and four for birds, and they visit things on their own: bowls, troughs, hay, pet beds, kennels, fences and people.People & animals
Crouch-walk and tiptoe are in Movement, Manner. People idle a little differently from each other, and people far from the camera are animated more cheaply, so big crowds cost less.People & animals
The AI can ask people to use things (sit down, open a door, make a call), and says plainly when it can't, for example when there is nothing in the scene to use.AI
AI chat in the prop maker: describe a prop, or ask for changes (“make the legs thinner”, “add a handle”), in a chat beside the 3D view (a sheet on a phone). It builds with the maker's own tools, you watch it appear, and it checks its own work and repairs mistakes. On every plan: Free uses Sonnet 5.5, Pro and Studio use Opus 5.5.Prop maker
The chat keeps working if you click elsewhere in the maker or leave the page: it finishes and saves, and a banner tells you what happened while you were away. Only Stop stops it. Ask for variations and preview them before you keep one.Prop maker
One AI request is one undo step, with Undo that and Redo that and a list of the changes it made. A message is used only when the prop really changes; if nothing changes, the message is given back. Pro and Studio can also attach a photo or sketch.Prop maker
The chat is kept with the prop and deleted with it or with your account. Style memory has its own switch under Prop maker in Settings. Messages to the AI, its replies and the list of changes are kept; photos are not, only their file names.Prop maker
Replies now come from the newer Claude models: Opus 5.5 on Pro and Studio, Sonnet 5.5 on Free. The long standing instructions are cached between messages.AI
Import STL too, alongside GLB, glTF, OBJ and FBX (Pro and Studio). Choose the origin and a size preset when you import, and use Make lighter on a heavy imported mesh or Make editable to turn it into parts. In a scene, Add, My models has an Import a model button.Prop maker
3D export of a scene, a selection or a background as GLB, glTF, OBJ or STL: Pro up to 1 million triangles, Studio up to 3 million. Prop maker models export on every plan, STL included. There is no FBX export.Sharing & community
Project files: export any project as a .movieai file with its models, pictures, sounds and voice takes, and import it into any account. It is on every plan, and Free keeps only what Free can hold.Sharing & community
Export the scene's sound as a WAV file: up to 1 minute on Free, 5 on Pro, 10 on Studio. A new Export and Import hub in the top bar lists video, screenshots, storyboard, subtitles, floor plan, 3D, audio and project file, and you can drop almost any file onto the editor.Sharing & community
Uploading a picture, sound or model now shows a short rights notice, and posting a scene that carries uploaded or imported files asks you to tick a licence first.Sharing & community
Faster loading: the set appears in order (ground and openings, then people, big things, small things) behind a progress bar, shaders compile together before the first frame, and panels and most prop groups load only when needed. On our test PC a busy apartment scene took about 5 seconds to be fully drawn from a cold start, down from about 23.Building scenes
Lighter scenes: in five of our six test scenes 15% to 34% fewer objects are drawn each frame, Low graphics uses cheap blob shadows, the picture resolution adapts, and idle scenes redraw less often. We don't promise a frame rate: it depends on your device and your scene.Building scenes
The site keeps its code, thumbnails and icons on your device so return visits start quicker (never your scenes), and if the editor changes under you after a release, a notice asks you to reload.Account & help
Built for phones: the editor fits 320 to 844 px wide in portrait and landscape with every control at least 44 px, a Camera and Objects switch, a move stick and a look stick with Jump, Open and Interact in first person, pinch on the timeline, drag to reorder shots, double-tap to frame, and a preview window you can drag and snap. Sheets rise above the keyboard.Account & help
Install app in the footer adds MoVie AI to your phone or computer where your browser allows it, and an offline page shows with no connection. Phones keep lighter graphics limits, watch memory and switch to Low with a notice when it runs short, and a lost graphics context is saved and reloaded. All of this was tested on emulated phones, not real devices.Account & help

Turnstiles, working lifts, cars you can look into, community search and views
Turnstiles and lifts that work, steering wheels that turn, props that stop people closer to their real shape, community search and view counts, voices that keep their pitch at any speed, and an AI that can reorder your shots.
Turnstiles, two-way and one-way. People pass one at a time, and a one-way turnstile turns people back: they go another way, or stop with a note.Building scenes
Working lifts, with a glass or steel car, their own shaft and landing doors. The car travels between floors and its doors open only at a floor. People wait, ride together and get out on their floor, and take the lift by themselves when their next point is on another floor.Building scenes
The AI now puts a working lift into the lift shafts of the buildings it generates, such as offices and hotels.AI
Steering wheels turn with the front wheels, and drivers' hands turn with them. Tank tracks move, and bikes, motorbikes and scooters steer with the whole front end and fold their side stand when ridden.Backgrounds & weather
Passengers can be seen through the tinted windows of buses, trucks, vans, ambulances and fire trucks. Armoured vehicles have no windows.Backgrounds & weather
Search community scenes by title, description or tag, signed in or not.Sharing & community
Views: each post and profile now shows its views, counted once per person per day. They are counted since Oct 24, 2026, and embeds are not counted.Sharing & community
Recorded voices keep their pitch at any playback speed, in the player and in video exports. Computer voices speak at faster speeds up to about 2x, and lines that can't keep up show as captions.Sharing & community
The AI can reorder your shots: ask it to “put the close-up before the wide shot”. The Storyboard has drag and arrow reordering too.Cameras & shots
Props stop people closer to their real shape: in our walk-into test of 671 prop types, people now stop within about 10 cm of what the prop really looks like for 82% of them (it was 49%). People can also walk in under the high end of an open staircase.Building scenes
Each foot finds the real surface on stairs, ramps, slopes, curbs, bridge decks, rubble and snow. In our walk tests the worst sink is about 1 cm (stairs were up to 16 cm in a frame, rubble 8 cm).Building scenes
Achievements pop up within a few seconds of saving, sharing, following or editing your profile.Account & help
Wandering animals now wait for people and cars, and cars brake and stop for you when you walk in first person. In a 40-person hall test, people left stuck went from 42 of 200 to 2 of 200.Building scenes
A walk point on a bridge deck, a platform or an upstairs room is now walked up to. If no stairs or ramp lead there, the editor says so in red.Building scenes
Animals put each paw on the step or slope (tested with dogs, cats and sheep), and dogs and sheep sink slightly into snow like people. A dog on stairs went from 37 cm into the steps to 0.People & animals
Rubble heaps and all 12 kinds of bridge (rope, railroad, draw, covered and more) now pass the walk-into test; it was 7 failures. Fallen characters, beams and loose debris rest on the treads of a staircase instead of inside them.Building scenes
In first person you no longer sink into stairs, ramps or curbs (stairs were 20 cm, a footbridge 30 cm), and on steep flights the foot float matches ordinary walking, about 2 cm or less.Building scenes
Cars queue about a car's length behind each other and never drive through a stopped car.Backgrounds & weather
People can get in and out of a vehicle several times, getting in and out blends smoothly, and the first-person driver's view is brighter.People & animals
Posts without a picture show a drawing of their floor plan, and phones load a smaller copy of post pictures.Sharing & community
Playback goes quiet about 0.1 seconds after you leave the page, or 0.3 seconds if the picture freezes.Sharing & community
The AI's quick questions now cover 35 kinds of scene and are asked in English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and Italian.AI
Deleting an account removes everything kept for its shared scenes. Moderators can reset a profile and remove a post picture.Sharing & community
The editor's top bar fits phones from 320 px wide, the tool rail keeps its buttons at least 32 px on laptop-height screens, and the AI memory card folds into a compact list on phones.Account & help
Older scenes with blank buildings get a one-click “Add doors and windows” offer. It is never automatic, and it is one undo.Building scenes

Profile themes and achievements, solid props, cars with people in them and an AI that asks
16 profile themes and 57 achievements, props that stop people, cars that drive with people inside, shots you can reorder, a picture of your own scene on every post, a full video player, autosave you can see, and an AI that asks a few quick questions before a big build.
Profile themes: 16 for your page. 8 are free, 2 are for Pro and Studio, 2 for Studio only, and 4 unlock when you earn achievements. Upload a banner on any plan, pick an accent colour, patterns and layouts, and try Preview as visitor.Sharing & community
Reorder or hide profile sections, feature one item and pin up to 6 scenes. A profile picture is opt-in, joined date, plan and following count can be switched on or off, and a page can be kept out of search engines.Sharing & community
All-time thumbs up and an approval percentage (shown after 10 thumbs) on your scenes and scripts, your own thumbs left out, and star averages for models and backgrounds. The thumbs-down total is private unless you switch it on.Sharing & community
57 achievements in 8 categories replace the 12 badges, and the originals are kept. Five rarities from Common to Legendary, 4 secret ones, progress bars, the date you earned each, and the share of members who have it.Account & help
Pick up to 6 favourite achievements for your profile, and a toast celebrates each new one. Rare ones and above shimmer, and streaks count the days you open the dashboard.Account & help
Solid props now block first-person walkers, path characters and animals, by their real shape. Bridges, stairs, ramps and curbs are walked on, rails and piers hold you back, and you can pass under a bridge.Building scenes
A path that can't be reached stops short, and the editor says what is in the way with a red dashed line. People don't wade into ponds, lakes or pools (puddles are fine).Building scenes
People wait for revolving doors, step in, ride half a turn and step out, one or many at once. Cars, a raised drawbridge and other people make a character wait, and automatic doors open before the character arrives.Building scenes
Feet on the ground: characters' feet follow the surface under each foot on slopes, curbs, stairs, bridge decks, rugs and snow (a 20° slope went from 48 cm sunk to 0, a footbridge from 70 cm to under 1 cm), and first person stops at the set's edge with a note.Building scenes
Cars drive a path: any of 42 vehicle types, 3 to 150 km/h, with stops, a start delay and a loop. They brake, slow for corners and stop at red lights and stop signs (switchable), and go round, wait or stop short rather than drive through things.Building scenes
Wheels roll and steer, brake lights come on, headlights run automatic or keyed, and engines have a sound. It works in the editor, the timeline, the community player and exports, on every plan.Building scenes
Put people in cars from a seat map: belted in, hands on the wheel, moving with the car. They get in and out at stops, the door opening on the timeline, and the AI puts drivers in driving cars and fills parked cars sensibly.People & animals
Reorder shots by dragging, with ▲ ▼ or the keyboard. The numbers, storyboard, timeline, exports and community player follow, and a shot's own titles and transitions move with it. It's undoable, auto-saved, and kept when two people edit.Cameras & shots
Every community post gets a picture of its own scene, taken for you or chosen by you, never a stock image: any shot, an overview, a free view, or an upload (JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 20 MB). Up to 6 pictures a post.Sharing & community
Shared videos play the whole film in the author's shot order, with transitions and subtitles. The player has a scrub bar with a tick at every cut, speed from 0.5x to 2x, volume, captions and full screen. Exports now match its length.Sharing & community
Sound now stops when you pause, leave, scroll away or switch tabs, and only one video plays at a time. The thumbs button always shows your real vote, in the feed, on profiles and search, and after a refresh or on another device.Sharing & community
Autosave you can see: Saving, Saved or Offline, a save when you switch tabs, leave or go offline, a backup on your device until your account has it, a warning before you leave unsaved work, and two tabs or devices merge.Building scenes
The AI asks up to 3 quick questions before a big, open request (a school, a chase scene, a bridge): tap an answer, type your own, or choose Just surprise me. Simple requests just build. Asking uses no message; the build that follows uses one.AI
It remembers your answers on your account and asks less over time. Settings shows, changes, forgets or resets what it remembers and turns asking or remembering off. No model is retrained, and only anonymous counts of which questions help are kept.AI
Buildings the AI makes, and building presets, always get an entrance and windows on every long outside wall, and war damage blows real holes through the windows. Walls-tool openings get a casing around them.Building scenes
Police scenes keep only responders and onlookers behind the tape and close the roads inside the cordon. Streets join the background streets, parked cars sit on the road, herds don't overlap, and wall clocks and extinguishers hang on walls.Building scenes

Edit your video, a Gaming category, doors that open and subtitles you can edit
Split, trim and title your shots and add your own sounds, 57 gaming props, Improve this scene on the AI button, AI cameras that check their view, doors that open by themselves, characters that look where you point, editable subtitles, steadier recording, and Collaborate and Share kept apart.
Video editing: split a shot at the playhead, trim either end, reorder shots and give each its own speed from ¼x to 4x. It shows in the editor, in real-time and Studio exports and in the community player.Cameras & shots
Between camera angles choose a cut, a fade through black or a dissolve, and fade in and out at the ends. Add titles (title card, centred, lower third, top caption) in 5 colours and 3 fonts, up to 40 a scene, and give each shot its own colour look.Cameras & shots
Your own sounds: upload MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG, WebM or FLAC onto four audio tracks (voices, music, effects, ambience) with mute, solo and volume, and move, trim, loop, split and fade clips. Nine simple music loops and stings made on your device come with it.Backgrounds & weather
Free keeps 10 of your own sounds (20 MB), Pro 200 (500 MB), Studio 1,000 (2 GB). A shared page plays your uploaded sounds only if you switch on “Play my uploaded sounds”, which is off by default.Backgrounds & weather
A Gaming category of 57 props: gaming PCs and monitors, consoles and handhelds, arcade cabinets, pinball, streaming gear, an esports stage, gaming desks and chairs, neon shapes. Original designs, no brand names. 14 are on Free, the rest on Pro, with stand-ins on Free.Props & library
Every screen can show a game, a stream, chat, a desktop, code, a terminal, an esports broadcast or TV, or be switched off. RGB lights can be on, off, rainbow or any colour. Four one-click packs: a gamer's bedroom, a streaming room, an arcade and an esports arena.Props & library
Doors open by themselves when a character or animal walks through, and shut behind them with door sounds. Every door in the library works, each set to Auto-open, Always open, Always closed or Locked. In first person, walk up and it opens.Building scenes
Point any character at a person, animal, object, camera or spot: the eyes lead, the head follows and big turns bring the shoulders. Timeline “Looks at” keys, looks along a walk and an aim ring in 3D. Dogs, cats, horses, crows and bats can look too.People & animals
Mouths rest shut in pauses, breaths and room noise (a mouth that stayed half open is fixed), and a typed line read by a computer voice moves the lips word by word.People & animals
Steadier recording: a take records straight from the microphone and is saved on your device twice a second, recoverable for up to 7 days. If the mic drops you can record the rest, keep what you have or start over, and hear a take back and trim it before keeping it.People & animals
Improve this scene, on the AI button: a before and after plan in five areas, and nothing changes until you press Apply (one undo). It uses a message only if it finds changes; if nothing would change, or it fails, the message is given back.AI
Helpers that change the scene give the message back if nothing changes, and a request that never finishes is given back automatically within 15 minutes. Plain chat answers still count as a message.AI
Smarter AI cameras: each is checked for a clear view and moved, re-aimed or re-lensed if it fails, with the reason. Two-person shots keep the 180-degree rule, shots come in story order, and Quick coverage builds them without using a message.AI
Subtitles you can edit: text, timing, speaker and style, a list with find and replace, SRT and VTT in and out, burned into MP4 and WebM exports. Free adds 1 extra subtitle language per scene, Pro and Studio up to 8.Cameras & shots
Fix subtitles with AI and Translate cost one message each, and nothing is charged if the AI changes nothing. The AI learns your spellings, sound-note style and character voices; it is private, and you can see, delete or switch it off in Settings.AI
Collaborate: invite up to 10 people by link to edit the same scene and chat. The invite button used to be called Share, which is now for showing your work.Sharing & communityPro
Nothing is posted to the community until you press Confirm in a “Share this to the community?” box showing the picture, title, description, tags and Public or Unlisted. Scripts, models, backgrounds and challenge entries ask the same way.Sharing & community
Unlisted scenes and scripts stay out of the feed, profiles, search and sitemap. Recorded voices and uploaded sounds play on a shared scene only while switched on: sounds start off, voices start on only if the scene has recordings, and you see it before you confirm.Sharing & community

Build your own backgrounds, better voices and audio, easier cameras
A background maker, bees and the sound of water, 24 computer voices and a proper audio mixer, a live camera preview, a smoother editor, an AI that places things sensibly, and community videos that load far faster.
The background maker: start from one of 23 presets or a blank world, then place buildings, roads, rails and rivers, scatter trees and rocks, paint the ground, set the sky and add your own props. Free keeps 2 backgrounds, Pro 20, Studio 100.Prop maker
Backgrounds stay light with a performance meter, an Optimize button and simpler versions at a distance. Guided and Advanced modes, undo and redo, autosave, a phone layout, a quick tutorial, and free use and rating of other people's published backgrounds.Prop maker
A live camera preview while you edit a camera: dock it left or right, drag it, resize it, collapse it or pop it out, with frame guides and a strip of all your cameras.Cameras & shots
Easier cameras: a view cone with handles to turn, tilt and change the lens in the 3D view, a camera tools bar (Look through, Add camera, Move, Aim, Lens, Zoom, Record move) and six one-click angles, from close-up to following.Cameras & shots
Better voices: 24 computer voices by age, gender and accent, 8 feelings (angry, scared, calm, excited, whispering…), pitch and speed, and a play button to preview every voice.People & animals
Play scene now speaks typed, script and AI-written lines in each character's voice, with Pause, Restart and a progress bar.People & animals
A better recorder: use the microphone you pick, with a level meter, Auto level, “too quiet” and “clipping” warnings, and an Enhance voice switch that cleans up a take and keeps the original.People & animals
An audio mixer: volume and mute for master, voices, ambience and effects, and your choice of speakers and microphone with a Test button for each. Speaker choice isn't available in Safari or on phones. Interface click sounds are off unless you turn them on.Account & help
Bees: up to 300 striped, winged bees flying their own looping paths, with controls for how many, how fast and how wide, around a hive, flowers or a tree. A new bee hive prop, buzzing that gets louder up close, and the AI uses them in gardens, farms and forests.Backgrounds & weather
Water sounds: smooth river, stream, lake, wave, waterfall and fountain loops that fade with distance, and rivers placed in a scene now have sound. Eleven other looping sounds that clicked at the loop point are fixed.Backgrounds & weather
A smoother editor: switching between Plan and 3D no longer rebuilds the whole 3D scene (the stall drops from about 0.9 s to 0.1 s on a fast computer, 0.3 s the first time), a 300 m river is drawn in 55 draw calls instead of 376, and memory no longer grows with each switch.Building scenes
The AI places things sensibly: bridges get water or a road to cross, docks and piers reach the water and boats float, barns go on grass, traffic lights go to the kerb, and so on.AI
The AI's chat reply is now written from what was really added or changed, and says plainly when the library has no such prop.AI
Publish a background to the community gallery, and make your own editable remix of someone else's, with credit.Sharing & communityPro
Community videos cut between the author's camera angles in order and load far faster: the Play button and poster come first and the 3D loads only after you show you want to watch. Sound plays with a button that remembers your choice.Sharing & community
A post's recorded voices play only while its owner has “Play my recorded voices” on (it starts on only when the scene has recordings, shown before you confirm). When it is on, the recordings are public.Sharing & community
New tutorials: Editor basics, Cameras made easy and What's new. A Help & tutorials button reopens any of them, you can skip at any point, and they work on a computer and on a phone.Account & help
